Cass is a regular here at Beck’s, we’ve even named her favorite meal after her! Go see one of her shows and enjoy her omelet here at Beck’s!
With Florida gripped in a continued cold snap, we have some ideas to keep you warm:
Try a Chocolate Decadence hot chocolate, one of our hot teas, a hot Chai or a fresh Joffrey’s coffee (Hazelnut is back!)
Add a shot of Torani flavor syrup to any of the above or to an iced tea, we have many to choose from, including Vanilla, Hazelnut, Cinnamon, Peppermint, Raspberry, Caramel, as well as Sugar Free varieties of some of the above.

Join us on Saturdays at our new Bistro location at 417 Old Main (12th) Street West in downtown Bradenton!

“By GRACE GAGLIANO – ggagliano@bradenton.com
MANATEE — The economy continued to challenge the local business community in 2009. As the beginning of 2010 approaches, the Herald selected 10 local businesses leaders and owners to reflect on the year and their prospects for the New Year.”
“Werner Beck, owner of Cool Beans Cafe & Arts
Biggest accomplishment in 2009: We moved Cool Beans from 904 Manatee Ave. E. to 611 Manatee Ave. E. and we increased sales by 25 percent thanks to a very solid customer base.
Biggest challenge of 2009: To overcome a severe recession with declining sales in the restaurant business.
New Year’s resolution: We will open a new location at Old Main Street in January 2010. We are going to change our name to Beck’s Restaurant at the Manatee Avenue location and Beck’s Bistro at the downtown location.
Expectations for 2010: Our plan is to hire one more cook and two waitresses and hopefully increase sales by 25 percent again.”
Our recent and ongoing expansion is featured in the Herald article at http://www.bradenton.com/jennifer_rich/story/1852405.html
